Registration, Tuition & Fees Schedule for the 2018-2019 School Year

2018-2019 Tuition

Tuition may be paid in a single payment (in August), in two tuition payments (August & January), or in ten monthly installments (Aug.-May). Monthly installments must be made through the SMART Plan. All San Carlos School families, except those who pay the annual tuition in full, must complete a SMART enrollment form at the time of registration. On this form you will select the day of the month your payments will be due (10th, 20th or 30th). Payments will be made directly to SMART. Families that are re-registering and have paid through SMART previously will be automatically rolled-over in the SMART Program and no new enrollment forms are needed. Tuition rates are as follows:

General registration for the entire school beings in February. Current students and their families will receive their re-registration packets in the U.S. mail. Incoming families will receive this packet after screening is completed and their child's offer of enrollment has been accepted. Completed Financial agreements for returning families are due no later than March 14, 2018. Due to the rolling nature of admissions, new families are given two weeks from the date of their acceptance letter to complete the registration process.

Registration Fee

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $200.00 per child due with the signed school contract.

General fee

The non-refundable General Fee of $375.00 per child. The General Fee covers the cost of student insurance, testing, Diocesan Assessments, classroom materials and supplies, workbooks, student periodicals, rental of textbooks, Parents’ Club fees, and technology fees. These fees are non-refundable.

Time and Talent

Each family will make a commitment of Time & Talent (volunteer hours) toward the success of school activities and events. A minimum of five hours of service a month or fifty hours a school year is required. Ten of the 50 hour requirement must be completed in the Branches Resale Shoppe. Families may pay the sum of $750.00 by August 10th, 2018 if they prefer to be relieved of this commitment. The fee for incomplete Time & Talent hours is $15.00/hr.

Refund Policy

San Carlos School plans carefully to ensure a full enrollment in order to provide our parents with a tuition that remains affordable. It is the policy of San Carlos School that tuition cannot be reimbursed for the semester in which a family leaves the school. If a family has paid tuition for the entire year, the school will only reimburse the tuition for the upcoming semester. Families that leave during the semester are required to continue to pay tuition until the end of that semester. This policy pertains to students who withdraw voluntarily as well as students who are asked to leave the school.
